LGA – Captive linear actuators

Captive linear actuators – how they work

The integrated linear guide is the main characteristic of captive linear actuators. The lead screw travels back and force in a linear motion as our video shows. Just watch.
LA Non-captive linear actuators

Non-captive linear actuators – design

Linear actuators without linear guide need an external guide to prevent the lead screw from rotating. Watch our video to learn more about the motion of the rotor and the lead screw.

Awarded for innovation!

In January 2024, Nanotec received the TOP 100 award for the third time. This award honors especially innovative small- and medium-sized enterprises.

On behalf of compamedia – the organizer of the TOP 100 innovation competition – scientist Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and his team examined the innovative capacity of small- and medium-sized enterprises in Germany. Not only was the innovative output measured but also the innovative potential of the participants.

In this scientifically independent benchmarking competition, Nanotec convinced in the area of "Outward looking/Open innovation" in its size class, placing it among the top innovators in Germany.
