Nanotec offers three different types of gearboxes: planetary gearboxes, worm gearboxes and hollow rotary tables. 

Planetary gearboxes – including high-torque and low-noise versions – are suited for a wide range of automation tasks due to their high efficiency and compact size.

Worm gearboxes are mainly used in applications where the output shaft is offset by 90° from the motor shaft. 

Hollow rotary tables are ideal for mounting positioning tables, robot grippers or pick-and-place toolings.

Hollow rotary tables

Hollow rotary tables combine a one-stage spur gear with a crossed roller bearing and ensure precise positioning in applications with high axial loads.
  • Reduction Ratio 10  – 18 
  • Rated Output Torque 3.5 Nm – 50 Nm
  • Efficiency 98 %
  • Max. Backlash 1 ´(arc minutes)

Planetary gearboxes

Due to their triple meshing, planetary gearboxes have a very high torque and the highest efficiency with a concentric shaft output.
  • Reduction Ratio 3  – 512 
  • Rated Output Torque 0.2 Nm – 130 Nm
  • Efficiency 48 % – 98 %
  • Max. Backlash 7 ´(arc minutes) – 150 ´(arc minutes)

Worm gearboxes

In the GSGE worm gearboxes, the output shaft is offset by 90° from the drive shaft. They are characterized by high efficiency and self-locking.
