PROFINET The product corresponds to the Conformance Class B and has an integrated 2-port switch. It supports the RT-class RT_CLASS_1 with a recommended cycle time of 4 milliseconds1 for the IO data. IRT (Isochronous Real Time) is not supported but the product may be integrated in an IRT-network. The product supports the drive profile PROFIdrive of the Profibus & Profinet International (PI) according to the specification: Profile Drive Technology - PROFIdrive Profile - Technical Specification for PROFIBUS and PROFINET - Version 4.2 – Date: October 2015 In PROFINET, the device is organized in various assembly groups and modules (slots, subslots) which are defined in the GSD file. On this product, Slot 0 is equipped with the DAP (Device Access Point). Slot 1 is euipped with the PROFIdrive module. This is organized in following sub-modules: Subslot 1: MAP (Module Access Point) Subslot 2 is reserved for the PROFIdrive Telegrams.
