PROFIdrive The product supports the drive profile PROFIdrive of the Profibus & Profinet International (PI) according to the specification: Profile Drive Technology - PROFIdrive Profile - Technical Specification for PROFIBUS and PROFINET - Version 4.2 – Date: October 2015 The product is according to the specification a homogeneous P-Device (peripheral device) with the associated PROFIdrive API 14848 at the PROFINET bus. It consists of one PROFIdrive Drive Unit (one single axis). The product supports thew following PROFIdrive application classes: Application class 1 with an interface for speed and torque and Closed Loop support. Application classe 3 with an interface for positioning and Closed Loop support.
